If you're trying to edit the number of guests in a room but the option is blocked, check if the room is connected to sales channels like Booking.com or Airbnb. If the room is connected to Booking.com or Airbnb, you won’t be able to change the number of guests directly in BedBooking. In that case, follow these steps:
Booking.com
1. Log in to Booking.com Extranet (Property ID > Room information > Edit) and update the number of guests assigned to the room:
2. After saving the changes in the Extranet, go to the room editing screen in BedBooking and click Update room data.
Note about room capacity in Booking.com
The issue might also result from a mismatch in room capacity between BedBooking and Booking.com. To ensure proper synchronization, the number of guests must match on both platforms.
For example:
-
If the room is set to 4 guests in BedBooking, it must also be set to 4 in Booking.com.
-
If the room is set to 12 guests in Booking.com, it must also be 12 in BedBooking.
Adjust the capacity settings in BedBooking to match those in Booking.com.
Airbnb
If the room is connected to Airbnb, you need to change the number of guests directly in the listing settings on the Airbnb website. The changes will be synced with BedBooking during the next data update.
📌 Make sure to also manually match the number of guests in your BedBooking calendar, as mismatches could cause display issues with prices or commission calculations in some forms.
