Why are reservations made through the widget automatically canceled?

When your guest makes a new reservation through the Reservation System, in the last step he will be asked to pay for it. If his choice of payment method falls on Online Payments (Przelewy24, DotPay, PayPal) he will have to finalize the transaction for the reservation to be confirmed. Otherwise - when he fails to complete this payment (e.g., he exceeds the time for payment in his bank, does not have sufficient funds, etc.), then his reservation will be automatically canceled.

How to set the waiting time for online payment?

To configure the length of time to wait for payments via Przelewy24, DotPay and PayPal, click Booking System in the main Menu, then Payment Methods. Under Online Payments, there is a preference Cancel reservations automatically if no payment is made to your account. Just turn it on and enter the value in minutes (in the range of 1-59 min).

We suggest setting a relatively short time (up to 10 minutes), payment systems generally transfer the payment within a few - several seconds. However, there may be cases where, for reasons beyond our control, the payment will be processed longer, hence the tolerance of up to 10 minutes.

The new tool will cut out the hassle of manually deleting reservations not paid for by your (would-be) guest. However, this doesn't mean that you won't be able to see who booked and didn't pay for their reservation - on the contrary, it will be visible in the Cancelled tab of your Reservation List. You no longer have to make sure that the Guest will see to it that he/she has paid for his/her stay at your property.
