When connecting rooms in the integration with Booking.com, it may happen that after clicking the Assign a room button next to a room from Booking.com, the list of rooms from BedBooking is empty.
Most often, this means that no room in BedBooking has the same capacity (number of people) as the room selected from Booking.com. For a room to appear on the list, its number of people in BedBooking must match the capacity of the room in Booking.com.
The list may also be empty if the appropriate number of rooms has not yet been created in BedBooking. This can happen, for example, right after creating a BedBooking account if you try to connect rooms from Booking.com before adding all the rooms in the BedBooking calendar.
What to do?
1. Check the capacity of the room in Booking.com that you want to connect with a room in BedBooking.
2. Go to the room editing in BedBooking for the room that is to be connected with the room from Booking.com by clicking on it in the calendar.
3. Change the Number of guests in the room in BedBooking so that it matches the capacity of the room in Booking.com.
4. Save the changes.
5. Return to the integration with Booking.com and go again to the Room mapping tab.
6. Click Assign a room next to the selected room from Booking.com.
7. After changing the capacity (number of people), the corresponding room from BedBooking should appear on the list and can be connected.
Important
Remember that a room in BedBooking set as, for example, 2+1 does not mean a room for 3 people. It means a room for 2 people with 1 extra bed.
If the room in Booking.com has a capacity of 3 people, the capacity of the room in BedBooking must also be set to 3 people, not 2+1.
Also important, it is not possible to connect several rooms from Booking.com to one room in BedBooking due to the risk of overbooking. You can find more information in the article Connecting multiple Booking.com rooms to one BedBooking room
