If you have noticed that your restrictions (e.g., Minimum length of stay on the day of the arrival) are not being exported from BedBooking to Booking.com, this may be because one of the rate plans in the Booking.com Extranet is a dependent plan. These types of plans do not allow remote editing of restrictions by the Channel Manager.
The solution is to change the dependent plan to an independent one, which will allow for full synchronization of data with BedBooking. Below you will find step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
1. Log in to the Booking.com Extranet
- Go to: https://admin.booking.com
- Log in to the account of the property to which the problem relates.
2. Go to the Rate Plans tab.
- In the top menu, click Rates & availability [1]
- Select the Rate plans option [2]
3. Find a dependent plan
- In the list of available plans, find the plan that says it depends on another plan [4] (e.g., “10% more expensive than Standard Rate”).
- Expand this plan [4] and then click Edit [5] next to it.
4. Change the plan type from dependent to independent.
- In the plan edition, find the Price section and click Edit next to it.
- Select Set up as new rate plan [6].
- Click Save [7].
- Then click Apply changes [8].
5. Enter prices and restrictions in BedBooking
- Go to your BedBooking account.
- Enter prices and restrictions in the Price List tab.

After completing the above steps, your rate plan will be independent, allowing BedBooking to effectively synchronize prices, availability, and restrictions with Booking.com.
Additional information
- After changing your plan to independent, your Booking.com plan will be visible and editable in BedBooking
- Make sure you have entered all prices for this plan in BedBooking - otherwise, your availability on Booking.com will be closed for days without a price entered
- After changing the dependency, existing restrictions may disappear - so it is worth setting them again from BedBooking
What if you don't want to switch to an independent plan?
You can manage your dependent Rate Plan from the Booking.com Extranet, but changes made in BedBooking will not affect the settings of this plan on Booking.com. So if you decide to modify your restrictions and preferences, you must remember to make changes to this dependent Rate Plan in the Booking.com Extranet in addition to the changes made in BedBooking.
