Connecting BedBooking with iCalendar is something you can do on your own, without needing advanced technical skills. Just follow our step-by-step guide.

How to set up the connection between BedBooking and iCalendar:
1. Open the main menu, go to the Sales Channels tab, and click on iCalendar:
2. Make import and export reservations by following the instructions below.
How to import bookings from a sales channels to BedBooking?
1. Copy the export link from the sales portal. Help
2. Click the Add source button next to the corresponding room and paste the copied link.
3. After adding all sources to the rooms, click Save.
4. Go to the Settings tab and activate synchronization.
How to export bookings from BedBooking to the sales portal?
1. Go to the Export tab.
2. Press Copy to copy the link to the booking calendar for the room in question.
3. Log in to the service of your choice and paste the copied link into the appropriate place for importing reservations.
4. Repeat the above steps for each room.
5. go to the Settings tab and activate synchronization.
How does the Synchronization option work?
Synchronization enables or disables:
a) exporting booking calendars (from BedBooking to OTA),
b) import of booking calendars (from OTA to BedBooking).
How does the Default booking status option work?
The option allows you to specify a default status for all bookings imported from OTAs.
1. Select from the list of statuses the one you want to automatically appear for bookings imported by iCalendar
2. Click Save.
How does the Exclude reservations from import option work?
This option allows you to exclude bookings containing a specific string (such as the word “Not Available”) from import.
The phrases Not available and Airbnb (Not available) are excluded by default, this prevents blocking appointments for all channels in case, availability is blocked on one of them.
How does the Fix synchronization option work?
The option allows you to delete imported reservations (from OTA to BedBooking) and redo the import (from OTA to BedBooking).
