Before you start using the BedBooking Reservation system, make sure you are well prepared. Our checklist will help you prepare by letting you know what materials and information you will need to start using the Reservation system smoothly.
Have photos of your property and rooms ready
Customers buy with their eyes, and a picture is worth a thousand words. That's why you should prepare good photos of the rooms. It's best to take at least three photos of each room. It is also important to add a photo of the entire property, common areas, and recreational areas that your guests can use. Then add the photos to the appropriate rooms in the Reservation system -> Configuration -> Photos and regulations tab.

Write interesting descriptions for the rooms
The more detailed the description of the room and the offer, the greater the chance that your customers will make a reservation. Make sure you provide a comprehensive, but above all accurate description of the room, its amenities, and the surrounding area. Add information about the room size and number of beds. Enter all this information in Room Edit after clicking on the room.
Prepare highlighting texts for the offers
There is definitely something that makes each room stand out from the rest. Write it down in a simple sentence that will encourage guests to book. You can enter a distinguishing text for each room. It will be visible in the booking system both in the list of offers and in the room details. You can fill it in in the Widget - offer distinguishing feature field.
Amenities
If your rooms or offers have unique features that you would like to highlight for your guests, you can do so by activating the appropriate features for specific accommodation units in the Reservation System -> Amenities tab. These could include, for example - free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, parking, towels, or a jacuzzi. Select the properties of your property from dozens of amenities on the list and make your offer stand out in a unique way.
Prepare booking and stay regulations
The rules for making reservations and staying at your facility are very important. Prepare the terms and conditions yourself or hire someone who has more experience in this area. It is important that the content of the provisions is unambiguous, written in an understandable way, and not subject to different interpretations. This will allow your customers to appreciate the fact that you have clear rules, and you will feel secure in the event of a conflict. Enter the terms and conditions as text, or redirect to your website via a link in the Reservation system -> Configuration -> Photos and regulations tab.
Start the online payment system
If you want the Reservation system to work as your automatic reception desk, make sure to activate online payments. This will ensure that the money for the booking is transferred directly to your bank account. If you already have an online payment system integrated with your bank account, check if you can use it in BedBooking.
