Where the invoice data is collected from

BedBooking provides you with an Invoice module that makes it quick and easy to issue invoices for your guests. A lot of data fills in automatically, saving you time and minimizing the risk of mistakes.

Company (vendor) data - your facility's data

The vendor data you see on the invoice - i.e. company name, address, tax ID - are taken from the Profile [1] → Company Data [2] tab. That's where you need to fill them in before issuing an invoice.

Your property's logo

You can add your company's logo to an invoice in two ways:

Method 1:

Add them under Profile [1]→ Location [2].

Method 2:

Add them in the invoice module. Click Invoices [1] - Open [2].

Open Settings [1] -> Account Settings [2], then Prints [3] and add a logo by clicking Select File [4].

Buyer's data - your visitor's data

The data of the guest, in other words - the purchaser, comes directly from the reservation, more precisely from the Customer tab. It is from here that information such as name, address and, in the case of companies, also name and Tax ID are taken.

Information regarding price, length of stay or dates is taken from the reservation from the Reservation tab. That's why it's so important that all data is entered there correctly before issuing an invoice.

If you want the dates of your stay to be visible on the invoice, go to Invoices → Taxes and enable the corresponding option. In the same place, you can also change the name of the service that will be shown on the invoice.

You can find detailed instructions here: Stay dates on the invoice

IMPORTANT

If you make changes to the reservation after the invoice has been issued (e.g. correct the guest details or the price), you must remember that the invoice will not update automatically. In such a situation, you will have to make the changes manually directly in the invoice content.
