How to enable Local tax?
1. Go to the Price list section in the menu, then click the Configuration tab or click the Settings button in the Set prices tab.
2. Click the Local tax tab.
3. Enable the Set local tax option by selecting the appropriate button in the Local tax settings list.
4. Set the rates for Local tax (for adults and children).
For children, specify the age range (from 0 to 17 years old). You can add several age ranges, and the amounts will be calculated depending on the set age range.
5. Set from which night the Local tax should be charged.
The tax will only be charged starting from the indicated night, but for the entire stay.
Example:
If the tax is set to apply from the second night of the stay, no tax amount will be added to a one-night booking.
If the tax is set to apply from the second night of the stay, the tax amount for both the first and second day of the stay will be added to a two-night booking.
Step 6: Save the changes.
📌From now on, in the Booking System if:
- you selected the Tax included in the price option, the text Local tax included in the price will be visible in the summary under the Total item.
- you selected the Tax added separately to the price option, the Local tax item and its amount. will be visible in the summary under the Total item.
The Total item, regardless of the setting, does not include the local tax amount.
How to set Local tax in a reservation
Local tax will be added automatically after clicking the Recalculate price button. For this to happen, in the reservation form you must select Settings, then check Local tax, and save:
You can also manually enter the local tax amount in the Local tax: field
📌For reservations coming from the Booking System, the local tax will be displayed in the reservation form in the Local tax field.
Additionally, in the reservation edit window, Local tax is never included in the Final price field - regardless of whether it is set as included in the price or added separately to the price, and regardless of whether the reservation comes from the Booking System or was added manually.
Do you want the local tax to be included in the price of the stay?
1. Enable the Tax included in the price option.
2. Save the settings.
Will Local tax be sent to the Reservation System?
Yes
Will Local tax be sent to Booking.com?
No, but if you have City tax set in Booking.com, then its amount will be displayed in the reservation coming from the Booking.com portal
Will Local tax be sent to Airbnb?
No, but if you have Tourist tax set in Airbnb, then its amount will be displayed in the reservation coming from the Airbnb portal

How to disable Local tax?
To disable the Local tax option, go to the Price list Settings, find the Local tax tab, and then Set local tax in the Local tax settings list. Uncheck the button and save the changes.
Previously saved local tax amounts in the reservation form will still be visible.
