What is “Occupancy-based price”?
Occupancy-based price is a useful option for personalizing prices in accommodation facilities. It allows you to adjust the room price depending on the number of people who intend to stay in a given room. Thanks to this, you can manage prices flexibly, which can attract different groups of guests.
Step by step: How to set Occupancy-based price:
1. Go to the Price list section in the menu and then click on the Configuration tab or click on the Settings button in the Set prices tab.
2. Click on the Prices tab.
3. Enable the Occupancy-based price option by checking the appropriate button in the price customization list.
4. Save your changes.
After activating the Occupancy-based price option, this option becomes available in the price edit window in your Price list.
5. Set Occupancy-based price.
Now you can go to the price grid in your Price list and select the specific dates on which you want to adjust Occupancy-based price. You can enter different prices for each date, specifying how many guests are included in each price.
Example:
If you have a room for 4 people, you can set a price for 1 person, a price for 2 people, a price for 3 people and a price for 4 people. This gives you the flexibility to adjust prices to the needs of different groups of guests.
Attention: If you have previously entered prices into your Price list and later added the "Price depends on the number of guests" option, the dates will be blocked until new prices are added. Dates that require your action will be marked in red on the pricing grid.
If you have already set Occupancy-based pricing and later added the Weekend price or Short stay price or Long stay price or Children's price option, the dates will be blocked until the prices for above options are completed. Dates that require your action will be marked in red on the pricing grid.
