Connecting your Booking.com property to BedBooking allows for two-way reservation exchange, preventing overbooking and saving you time by eliminating the need for manual calendar updates. By connecting BedBooking as your channel manager, you will also be able to manage your Booking.com pricing from within the BedBooking app.
The process of connecting your Booking.com property consists of several steps:
1. Adding the property
The first step is to add your Booking.com property to the BedBooking app. To do this, go to the Booking.com connection configurator, which you will find in the BedBooking app menu under the Sales channels section.
Click on the "Add a new property" button, and then enter the Booking.com property ID, which you can find in your Extranet. Fill in the property name and click Next.

To proceed to the next step, click 'Go to Extranet.' Then, select BedBooking as the connectivity service provider and give the necessary consents for data sharing.
💡 If you have already selected BedBooking as the connectivity service provider, skip this step by clicking the Skip this step button, and then add the property.
After the Extranet window opens, log in and grant BedBooking permission to access your data as your channel manager.
After selecting BedBooking as the channel manager and giving consent to share data, return to your BedBooking account and click the Add property button.
If the connection has been successfully completed, you will see a screen from which you can proceed to configure your property. To do this, simply click the Proceed to configuration button.
2. Property configuration
The configuration process includes four tabs:
- Currency and prices
Configure prices and room availability restrictions associated with Booking.com. Make sure the BedBooking currency matches the Booking.com currency. Review whether prices and availability restrictions are set according to your property's preferences. - Room mapping
Connect BedBooking rooms to the appropriate Booking.com rooms. Remember that they must have the same capacity. Make sure each Booking.com room is assigned to the appropriate BedBooking room to avoid booking and room availability problems. - Rate categories
Configure Booking.com rate plans by setting up rate category actions. Choose whether to apply standard rates, short stay rates, long stay rates, and whether to add a meal price.
Selecting how to calculate amounts in a given rate category does not change the rate plan operation in the Extranet. Remember that the rate plan on the Extranet side must have settings that match the rate category calculation method. For example, if you want to offer a lower price for a long stay, make sure that the Extranet rate plan has the appropriate settings.
Remember that BedBooking does not display price plans that are based on a different pricing plan in the Extranet. - Synchronization
Report the end of the configuration by clicking the Confirm the completion of the BedBooking account configuration button in your BedBooking account, so that the BedBooking support team can verify its correctness and establish a connection.
Are you a new user who has not manually transferred bookings from Booking.com to BedBooking before? Check the option to Download bookings from Booking.com if you want current or future bookings from Booking.com to be downloaded to the BedBooking calendar when the connection is established. Read the article to learn more.
After confirming the end of the configuration in the Synchronization tab, wait for verification.
3. Waiting for verification
After configuring your property, wait for the BedBooking support team to verify the correctness of your configuration. This usually takes 1 to 2 business days.
As part of the verification process, the BedBooking team checks, for example, whether your pricing plan has correctly configured prices and availability, or whether pricing categories have been correctly configured. You are responsible for configuring prices and availability, but if we notice any oversights, we will contact you.
If your property has been configured correctly and the BedBooking team has successfully verified it, a Booking.com connection will be established.
4. Establishing a connection
The establishment of a connection between Booking.com and BedBooking usually occurs automatically a few minutes after verification by the support team.
During activation of the connection and the first synchronization, bookings from Booking.com will be downloaded to the BedBooking calendar. If there was a BedBooking booking during the period of a Booking.com booking, the BedBooking booking will be canceled. Canceled bookings can be found on the Reservation List, which is located in the BedBooking application menu under Reservations.
After the connection is established, pricing categories set during the configuration step will have prices and availability restrictions pulled from the BedBooking pricing plan. From this point on, manage prices and availability restrictions for these pricing plans in the BedBooking pricing plan.
Remember that if a room connected to Booking.com has incorrectly set prices or a lack of prices in the pricing plan, the connected pricing plans will not be offered on Booking.com during that period.
The method of connecting Booking.com described in the BedBooking Help Center is the recommended method of configuration. However, users also have the option of starting the process of connecting Booking.com to BedBooking by designating BedBooking as the channel manager for their property in the Extranet. In this case, after verification, the property will go into the Confirm connection state. To establish a connection, go to the Extranet and give your consent.
After establishing the connection, the property will have the status Active. This means that a two-way exchange of data between Booking.com and BedBooking is active.
