Booking.com - What can I do to keep using the connection?
On January 24, 2023, we'll be turning off the ability to use the old Booking.com connection, so if you're still using it - it's high time to realize the potential of its new version.
Here's what you need to do to use the connection:
1.Set up a new price grid 2.0 → https://app.bed-booking.com/price/configuration
2.Set prices on the price grid and activate the price list 2.0 → https://app.bed-booking.com/price/set
3.Go through the Booking.com connection wizard to verify basic configuration errors. Apply appropriate corrections to the connection and save the configuration setting → BedBooking - Booking calendar app and reservation system.
4.Ensure that price and availability synchronization is working and free of errors. See notifications on booking calendar → https://app.bed-booking.com/booking/calendar
5.If there are errors - Report the error in the notification and wait for BedBooking support to contact you.
6. Follow the instructions received from BedBooking to fix the connections and remove the synchronization errors.
7. Ensure that the pricing grid in the Extranet system has been populated with the correct pricing, availability and booking restrictions for each pricing plan. → https://admin.booking.com/
8. Make sure that, as a potential guest, you see your listing on Booking.com exactly as you wanted it. Particularly pay attention to the applied restrictions for each price plan. Review some upcoming dates that are important to you. → https://www.booking.com/
This is especially important if you have more than one pricing plan on the Extranet.
9. If you find any discrepancies, contact BedBooking support via the contact form. Describe exactly where the discrepancies are and attach screenshots to confirm the malfunction. → https://support.bed-booking.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
10.Wait for an email response from BedBooking support and follow the instructions you receive.
Consequences for the user when inactive
If you do not switch to the new price list 2.0 and Integration Wizard 2.0, including its configuration, price setting, or activation on 24th Jan 2023:
- accommodation offer in Booking.com will be unavailable for sale or will be outdated
- activation of the new pricelist 2.0 will occur automatically as it will be completed, no matter what prices are entered.
- there may be all sorts of Booking.com synchronization errors in notifications.
