There are a few situations that require you to recalculate Airbnb or Booking.com prices based on a fixed amount rather than just a set commission percentage.
How can you use a fixed-amount commission?
An example of the need to use a fixed-amount commission is if you have several Booking.com rate plans.
Example:
We assume that we have one price plan without meals and the other price plan with breakfast. We would like the first plan without meals to have prices higher than BedBooking prices by 15% commission, and the second plan with breakfast to have prices higher than BedBooking prices by 15% plus an additional 50 euros.
Increasing prices with a fixed amount can also be a great solution if you want full prices.
Example:
If the BedBooking price is 150 euros, and you use a percentage commission of 15%, the price sent to Airbnb or Booking.com will be 173 euros. If you want the prices to always be full, you can use an amount commission instead of a percentage commission. In the example given, if you set your fixed-amount commission to €30, the price you send to Airbnb or Booking.com will be €180.
It is worth noting that price conversions based on a fixed amount do not take into account the basic price.
Example:
If the BedBooking price is EUR 100 in a certain period and EUR 200 in another period, a fixed commission amount will be added in both periods, e.g. EUR 30, which will result in the amount of EUR 130 and EUR 230 being sent to Airbnb or Booking.com.
The commissions that platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com charge are usually based on a percentage of the booking amount rather than a fixed amount, so using a percentage commission is recommended in most cases.
For Booking.com's OBP pricing plans, you can choose whether the amount commission will be charged “per night” or “per night per person.” If you choose “per night,” a fixed amount will be added to each night of your stay. If you choose “per night per person,” the amount will be added per person for each night.
Example:
If you set the amount commission of 30 euros “per night” and the booking includes 2 nights, 60 euros (30 euros x 2 nights) will be added to the total amount, regardless of the number of people.
On the other hand, if you choose the “per night per person” option and the booking includes 3 people for 2 nights, 180 euros will be added to the total amount (3 people x 30 euros x 2 nights).

How to set a commission based on a fixed amount?
Price increases based on a fixed amount are only available in the individual "Commission and Availability". It allows you to increase BedBooking prices both based on a percentage and a fixed amount. You can use two types of commissions at once, or choose just one. To use only the amount commission, simply fill in the "Additional amount per night" field and leave the percentage commission field "Price increased by" blank or enter "0".
