Setting the length of stay on the day of arrival is a useful option for owners of accommodation facilities who want to control how long reservations starting on a specific day should last (this is the day of the guest's arrival, i.e. the day from which the guest starts the reservation).
These restrictions determine how guests can book a stay at your property, based on your preferences. If you apply these restrictions, potential guests will only be able to book with you if their search criteria match the conditions you specify.
Step by step: How to enable “Minimum/Maximum length of stay on the day of arrival”:
Step 1: Go to the "Price list" section in the menu and then click on the "Configuration" tab or click on the "Settings" button in the "Set prices" tab.
Step 2: Click on the “Accessibility” tab.
Step 3: Enable "Minimum length of stay on the day of arrival" and/or "Maximum length of stay on the day of arrival" by checking the appropriate button in the availability restrictions list.
Step 4: Save your changes.
Once activated, this option becomes available in the price edit window in your Price list.
How do I set the “Minimum/Maximum length of stay on the day of arrival” restriction?
Go to the main view of your Price list and select the dates during which you want this limitation to apply, then enter the number of nights and select the days of the week to which the limitation should apply.
“Minimum length of stay on the day of arrival”:
By entering the number of nights, you determine the minimum duration of the reservation.
Example:
If you set a minimum stay of 3 nights, your property will not appear in search results for guests looking for a 2-night stay from their expected day of arrival.
Additionally, you can set this restriction on selected days of the week.
Example:
If you set the minimum stay to 2 nights and select Friday, any reservation that starts on that day will have to be a minimum of 2 nights. Thanks to this, you will be sure that reservations will last throughout the weekend (Friday to Sunday).

“Maximum length of stay on the day of arrival”:
By entering the number of nights, you determine the maximum duration of reservations. This works on the opposite principle to the minimum length of stay.
Example:
If you set the maximum stay to 7 nights, guests will not be able to book stays for more than 7 nights from their scheduled arrival date.
Additionally, you can set this restriction only for reservations that start on selected days of the week
Example:
If you set the maximum number of nights to 7 and select Monday, then all reservations that start on Monday cannot be longer than 7 days.
Please note that this restriction only applies to bookings that start on a specific day of the week.
If you want to make sure that your weekends are not left half empty, go to the article How to set the length of stay? and learn more about how to set the “Minimum/Maximum Length of Stay” restriction. For example, bookings ending on Friday will also have to meet a minimum stay.
