On Booking.com, each room can have multiple rate plans that correspond to the different offers in which the rooms are offered on the website. For example, a room may have a non-refundable rate plan, a refundable rate plan, and a breakfast-inclusive rate plan. Creating Booking.com rate plans is free.
When creating each rate plan on the Booking.com Extranet, you must specify whether it is to be a new, independent rate plan or to be based on the prices of a previously created rate plan. When connecting a Booking.com property to BedBooking, all rate plans that are independent of other rate plans are downloaded to the BedBooking Price list and from the moment of connection you manage these rate plans in the BedBooking Price list. Rate plans that are based on other rate plans, increasing or decreasing rates, are not visible in the BedBooking Price list.
To sum up, all Booking.com rate plans whose prices are not based on the prices of another rate plan, i.e. independent rate plans, are automatically added to the BedBooking Price list when creating a connection. This means you don't have to worry about managing your rate plans when connecting Booking.com to BedBooking. All independent Booking.com rate plans, including prices and availability restrictions, will be downloaded to BedBooking unchanged. Rate plans based on other plans will not be visible in BedBooking, but you will still be able to manage them on the Booking.com Extranet and their offer will also still be visible on the Booking.com portal for your guests.
