Two-Way Sync: How Does It Work?
Two-way synchronization means that applications work together by sending information to each other.
Data export to Booking.com
After establishing a connection with Booking.com, both applications actively exchange information, eliminating the risk of overbooking. All reservations visible in the BedBooking calendar are immediately sent to Booking.com, blocking appropriate dates on the platform. In addition, any changes to prices and availability restrictions for specific dates are regularly communicated to Booking.com.
The exported data includes: reservations, prices and availability restrictions.
Data import from Booking.com
When you first connect a property to Booking.com, the BedBooking system imports key information such as prices, availability restrictions set in Booking.com and existing reservations starting today and future ones. It is worth noting that completed reservations are not imported.
Each new reservation made via Booking.com is immediately sent to BedBooking and synchronized with other connected sales channels, blocking availability for a given date.
Control over your data
To sum up, when you add a new reservation directly in BedBooking, make changes to the Price list, availability restrictions or room configuration, this information will automatically be reflected in Booking.com.
This solution supports reservation security and efficiency in managing accommodation facilities, allowing you to focus on serving guests instead of worrying about potential problems with availability and prices on both platforms.
